...and wait, and wait, and wait. That seems to be our life lately. We hurry up to get to auditions, and then wait to hear on call backs and bookings. We hurry up to block out dates on the calendar for holds, and then wait to hear if we booked them. We hurry up to learn lines and attend pre-production meetings, then wait for the next shoot date.
We've gotten use to it, but it wasn't easy at first. I’ve always been a planner. I use to keep a 6 month calendar of events and dates. I like to be organized and plan ahead, but now, things have changed. If I can schedule a week ahead, it’s fantastic! Ask me to schedule any further than that and my answer will most definitely be “maybe”.
So right now we’re in the wait mode. We’re waiting to hear when Brock be filming the next episode, and we’re waiting to hear whether William will get a call back on the audition he just did. We’re also waiting to hear if Brock will book the commercial he had a call back for today. Melvin is waiting for his first Lego Robotics competition, and Mel is waiting to hear on a business deal. Needless to say, if you happen to call, don’t be surprised if we answer the phone on the first ring, because we’re all waiting to hear from someone! :O)

ReplyDeleteBrief update: We have heard on a few of the things we were waiting on. Brock will be filming again next week, neither he nor William booked the commercials (boo hoo), and Melvin did fantastic at his first Lego Robotics competition. Way to go!
