The ups and downs of Hollywood are something we’re learning to deal with. Unfortunately, NBC cancelled The Paul Reiser Show after only 2 episodes. So other than a quick snapshot of Brock shown in the opening of the pilot episode, he wasn’t on TV. He was pretty bummed the first day, but he’s ok. He understands that is how the business works.
On the plus side, acting is something my husband and I never thought Brock would ever be able to do. This whole experience has shown us otherwise. Now he’s more determined than ever to be a professional actor. And so the auditions begin again!
Now, all three of our boys have been bitten by the acting bug! I think June is going to be a very busy month for us! Photo shoots, classes, and auditions x’s 3 (but there’s still just one of me…somehow the math just doesn’t add up). Thankfully, schools almost out so that will lighten my load a bit (we do homeschooling). I don’t think my part-time, 2 day a week job will hold out much longer either. I’m too busy to work! :O)
Keep your fingers crossed that the boys will begin booking jobs soon, and hopefully we’ll see them on TV.!
